Conduct inspection and quality testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, SOPs, and food safety regulations (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, etc.).
Perform routine lab testing such as moisture, oil content, acidity, and other relevant parameters depending on product line.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks, batch records, and test results.
Identify quality deviations and coordinate with production teams for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices in production and storage areas.
Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for inspections.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and support root cause analysis.
Ensure proper sampling, labeling, and storage of materials as per guidelines.
