Manage and monitor daily production activities to ensure timely achievement of production targets.
Plan, control, and optimize machining operations for maximum productivity and efficiency.
Handle manpower allocation, shop-floor activities, and inventory control.
Develop and optimize machining processes for new and existing components.
Generate and modify CNC programs using UG NX 11.0 (3D and 2D programming).
Work with CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Mitsubishi, and Siemens.
Perform VMC machine setup and support machining process improvements.
Design and develop fixtures for new product development on VMC machines.
Ensure proper utilization of machining equipment, including lathe, milling, shaper, and bandsaw cutting machines.
Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, MIS, and OEE.
Conduct line balancing, time studies, and motion studies to improve productivity.
Drive cost reduction and waste elimination projects.
Prepare process plans, work instructions, and production-related documentation.
Monitor adherence to FIFO practices and conduct Red Bin analysis.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Prepare and maintain production reports using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
