Job Description

  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for new product development projects.
  2. Analyze raw material, manufacturing, tooling, and overhead costs.
  3. Review customer RFQs and prepare cost sheets.
  4. Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and sales teams.
  5. Conduct feasibility studies and cost optimization activities.
  6. Support quotation preparation for new business opportunities.
  7. Calculate product profitability and contribution margins.
  8. Monitor actual costs against estimated costs.
  9. Develop and maintain costing databases and reports.
  10. Identify cost-saving opportunities during product development.
  11. Participate in value engineering and VA/VE activities.
  12. Assist management in pricing decisions and commercial negotiations.
