Carry out in-process inspection of press shop components as per control plan
Check dimensional accuracy, visual defects, burrs, cracks, dents, and surface finish
Ensure parts meet customer and drawing specifications
Monitor first-off, in-process, and last-off inspection
Use measuring instruments: Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, go/no-go gauges
Identify defects and inform production immediately to prevent mass rejection
Maintain quality records, check sheets, and inspection reports
Support PPAP, trial runs, and process audits
Ensure 5S, safety, and quality discipline on the shop floor
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams for issue resolution
