Job Description

1. Employee Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships between management and employees
  • Drive employee engagement and shop-floor connect initiatives
  • Handle disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and counseling
  • Support union interactions and negotiations (if applicable)

2. Legal & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
  • Manage PF, ESI, Factory Act, Bonus, Gratuity records
  • Coordinate with auditors, inspectors, and government authorities
  • Stay updated on labor law changes and implement accordingly

3. Blue-Collar Hiring

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment of workmen/contract labor
  • Coordinate with contractors and hiring agencies
  • Conduct bulk hiring drives and walk-in interviews
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and documentation

4. Grievance Handling

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances
  • Investigate and resolve issues fairly and promptly
  • Maintain proper grievance records and tracking
  • Ensure a transparent grievance redressal system

5. Policy Implementation & Discipline

  • Enforce company policies, standing orders, and code of conduct
  • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and discipline
  • Support HR policy implementation and improvements
